I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable holiday period and had the opportunity to spend time with family and friends. On behalf of the Board and staff, I wish you and your loved ones all the very best for the year ahead.

As we move into the New Year, I’m pleased to share this quarterly update, providing an overview of how the Club has been tracking and highlighting what’s ahead in the coming months. The past period has been a busy, successful, and enjoyable one, and I sincerely thank all members and guests for your continued support and patronage. Your involvement plays a vital role in creating the positive atmosphere we all value and in the ongoing success of the Club.

Financial Update
I am pleased to advise that our strong trading performance has continued as we reach the halfway point of the financial year, with a profit of $539,333 reported after six months.

As previously outlined, our primary focus remains on reducing the Club’s long-standing debt position. I am pleased to report that during the last quarter we were able to reduce our debt by a further $220,000.

The Board has also commenced the strategic planning process previously communicated, and I hope to share further updates on this in my next quarterly report.

Acknowledgements
It is with sadness that I acknowledge the recent passing of Life Member Peter Hughes. Peter made a significant contribution to the Club over many years as both an employee and bowls member, and his dedication and service will be fondly remembered. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

On a happier note, congratulations to Andrew Mathers, our Operations Manager, on the birth of his second child. We wish Andrew and his family all the very best during this exciting time.
