From the tropical notes of the Moffitt, to the sunset-inspired brilliance of the Sunset Boulevarde, these cocktails are perfect for summer entertaining. Or come down for Happy Hour and get a taste for yourself. Overlooking the beautiful greens makes for the perfect place to unwind.
THE MOFFITT
Jodie Moffitt, one of our most-loved team members, has worked at the Club for almost 21 years. Both her daughters are also part of our team. We’ve named this delicious cocktail in her honour – it’s sure to be a sentimental favourite.
Ingredients:
- 15ml Blue Curacao
- 15ml Lychee Liqueur
- 15ml gin (try one of the locals)
- 15ml Bacardi
- 30ml lime juice
- 30ml pineapple juice.
Method:
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Double strain into a large wine glass. Top with ice and lemonade. Garnish with three dehydrated orange wheels around the inside of the glass and serve with two short paper straws.
SUNSET BOULEVARDE
The bar team at the club absolutely loves this cocktail. They have crafted it to be a delicious and perfect way to kick-start any party.
Ingredients:
- 30ml lime juice
- 15ml egg white
- 30ml Aperol
- 30ml Captain Morgan Tropical
- 15ml Cointreau
- 45ml pineapple juice
- 15ml passionfruit syrup
Method:
Dry shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker until foamy. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until cold. Double strain into an old-fashioned glass. Top with ice if needed. Garnish with two short paper straws and a dehydrated blood orange wheel.
